Sen. Tom Cotton was the only candidate to file in the Republican primary and advanced to the general election by default. No candidate filed in the Democratic primary. Ricky Dale Harrington Jr. ran unopposed for the Libertarian nomination.

The Democratic and Republican primaries were canceled in all four U.S. House districts in Arkansas.

  • In District 1, incumbent Rick Crawford (R) ran unopposed in the Republican primary. No Democratic candidate filed for the seat.
  • In District 2, incumbent French Hill (R) and Joyce Elliott (D) ran unopposed in the Republican and Democratic primaries, respectively.
  • In District 3, incumbent Steve Womack (R) and Celeste Williams (D) ran unopposed in the Republican and Democratic primaries, respectively.
  • In District 4, incumbent Bruce Westerman (R) and William Hanson (D) ran unopposed in the Republican and Democratic primaries, respectively.
