Arlene Bluth is a judge of the Supreme Court 1st Judicial District in New York. She ran unopposed in the general election on November 3, 2015.[1]

Bluth was previously a judge on the New York City Civil Court from 2006 to 2015. She was also an acting justice of the Supreme Court 1st Judicial District from 2013 to 2015.[2][3]

Education

Bluth received her B.S. from Cornell University in 1984 and her J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo Law School in 1989.[2]

Career

Bluth worked as a private practice lawyer from 1990 until her judicial election in 2004. She then joined the New York City Civil Court in 2005.[2]
