|- Sustainable Natural Environment: As a person who has made my living in the outdoor adventure industry, I know that District 59 represents some of the most amazing geogrophy in the world. As a university trained Geologist, I recognize that District 59 encompasses much of the world's most amazing record of mammals in the prehistoric record. World class recreational opportunities support the natural resource industries that have long supported this district. My major concern is that we need someone in Salem that understands that balanced sustainable natural resources are vital to our long-term economic health. I have always supported sustainable agriculture and tourism throughout the world and I belief that my experience and knowledge wil

Today, Oregon is facing the most serious global health challenge in recent history. It is critical that we have an elected of

As a rural Mayor, I know the importance of schools not only to train our children but to provide a core community connection for our families. Rural communities thrive because of the common understanding that we are all basically on our own, so we need to pull together. That spirit of cooperation and neighborly support is vital to finding a pathway going forward. We must fully fund our schools while being creative enough to find approaches and strategies that allow schools to find methods to delivering quality education in the age of the Coronavirus. I have the experience and skills to help find common ground in the leg
A great example of learning from many perspectives and stepping up into leadership when called upon.
