Arnold F. Blockman
Arnold F. Blockman was a judge of the Sixth Circuit Court of Illinois, serving Champaign County.[1] Blockman joined the court in 1996 and retired on September 16, 2016.[2]
Education
Blockman earned a B.S. in history and political science from the University of Memphis in 1968, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1973.[3]
Career

- 1975-1996: Associate and partner, Hatch, Blockman and McPheters, P.C.
- 1973-1975: Law clerk to Judge Leland Simkins, Illinois Appellate Court[3]
Blockman is also an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois College of Law, where he teaches family law practice.[3]

2014
Blockman was retained to the Sixth Circuit Court with 77 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4]
Evaluations
The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Arnold F. Blockman as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[5]
