An effort to recall Arsenio Cordova from his position on the Taos School Board began in May 2009. The effort was withdrawn.

Recall supporter arguments

The recall effort led by Citizens for Quality Education began after allegations that Cordova discriminated against school employees due to race or sex, created a hostile work environment and violated confidentiality of individual students. The group included former board candidate Jill Cline and board member Thomas Tafoya.

Organizers withdrew their effort against Cordova. He served the remainder of his single term, which concluded in March 2011.
