Jackman ran for election to the Twelfth Circuit Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 40.68 percent of the vote. He competed against Susan Maulucci.

Education
Jackman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Albany Law School. He also holds LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law.[3]
Military service
Jackman is a Colonel in United States Air Force and has served in the judge Advocate General's Corps for his entire career.[3]
Career
Jackman is the Felony Division Chief for the State Attorney's Office and has served the state of Florida for 20 years.[3]
