Biography
Art McCulloch was born in Akron, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1971. He earned a high school diploma from Cuyahoga Falls High School, a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in 1977, and an M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in 1984. His career experience includes working as a physician and anesthesiologist.[1]

|- We have plenty of well-intended programs to help people with housing, education, public health (including drug addiction), and other social concerns. I believe that the community would benefit from better communication from the Board about these programs.
- CMS, although not managed by the County Commission, is the recipient of significant funding from the county. As a governmental institution, CMS is populated by an overabundance of administrators - roughly 10 times more per student that private or parochial schools. I would like to work with the School Board and find efficiencies that would allow a significant amount of money to be available to teachers and principles. Our children are our future.
- As a moderate Republican, I possess a a political bias which can be useful in discussions and decisions by the Board which is currently represented by only Democrats. Lack of diversity can result inlost opportunities.
