A vote about whether to recall Art Moyses from his position as Supervisor of LeRoy Township took place on February 23, 2010. The recall effort was defeated and Moyses retained his seat.[1]
According to the filed petition, which also served as the official ballot language, recall proponents asked if Moyses unlawfully used township resources for a gift to Lori Leudeman. Additionally, the language asked if he "misused his position as a township supervisor to impede an ongoing Michigan State Police investigation into possible misuse of the LeRoy-Rose Lake Fireman’s Fund."[2]
