Biography
Schaaf was born in Topeka, Kansas. He earned a bachelor's degree from Washburn University in 1982 and a master's degree from Baker University in 1993. He also graduated from Squadron Officer School in 1995. His career experience includes working as a community employment coordinator. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1998. He was a squadron commander and later an executive officer in the military.[1]
