Education
Bocanegra earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court Bocanegra was an attorney in private practice. He also has experience as a partner at the law firm of Nakano, Sugihara & Bocanegra and working for the public defender's office.[1]
