Arthur House is a former chair of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. He stepped down from the position on October 12, 2016, in order to serve as Connecticut's cybersecurity chief.[1][2]

House worked as the senior vice president of public affairs at Webster Bank and held senior executive positions at Cigna, Aetna, and Tenneco. He served as director of communications at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Prior to his nomination to the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, House worked as chief of the communications group for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, a combat support agency of the U.S. Department of Defense.[3]

He previously held three positions in the U.S. Senate: chief of staff to former Connecticut Senator Abraham Ribicoff, staff director of the Democratic Policy Committee for former Senate Majority Leader Robert Byrd, and specialist on international relations for former Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd.[4]
