Article XIII of the West Virginia Constitution consists of six sections, four of which have been repealed.

Section 1

Text of Section 1: Land Titles All private rights and interests in lands in this state derived from or under the laws of the state of Virginia, and from or under the constitution and laws of this state prior to the time this constitution goes into operation, shall remain valid and secure and shall be determined by the laws in force in Virginia, prior to the formation of this state, and by the constitution and laws in force in this state prior to the time this constitution goes into effect.

Section 2

	Text of Section 2: Land Entry Prohibited No entry by warrant on land in this state shall hereafter be made.

Sections 3-6

	Text of Sections 3-6:

Repealed - Acts, 1992 Reg. Sess., HJR 113; and ratified on November 3, 1992.
