Article XIX of the South Dakota Constitution is entitled Congressional and Legislative Apportionment and consists of two sections.
Section 1
Text of Section 1:
Congressional Representatives Elected at Large Until otherwise provided by law, the members of the house of representatives of the United States, apportioned to this state, shall be elected by the state at large |
Section 2
Text of Section 2:
Senatorial and Representative Districts--Apportionment Until otherwise provided by law, the senatorial and representative districts shall be formed, and the senators and representatives shall be apportioned as follows: DISTRICTS [Omitted--See Chapter 2-2 for current provisions.] |
