Ballotpedia biographical submission form

The candidate completed Ballotpedia's biographical information submission form:

What is your political philosophy?

I chose to run for office because I want to create a positive change within my community. I decided to run to unify our community by bridging the divides we find ourselves facing by working with the community to find creative solutions to the challenges we must address to move our district forward. I chose to run because representation matters. There are currently no sitting city council members that are from the millennial generation or openly gay. While in office, I hope to achieve infrastructure revitalization, cleaning up our parks and green spaces, and renewed investments in our local businesses and public schools.

Is there anything you would like to add?

I am running as a candidate for the people, inspiring unity in our community. It is extremely important to me that we restore public trust and confidence in our council. I hope to achieve government transparency and increased civic participation within each neighborhood in my district.[2]
