Ashanti Martínez (Democratic Party) is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 22. He assumed office on February 24, 2023. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.

Martínez was appointed to replace former Rep. Alonzo Washington (D).

Biography

Ashanti Martínez graduated from Parkdale High School in 2014. Martínez earned a B.A. in political science and government from Howard University in 2018. His career experience includes working as a county council communications specialist with Prince George's County, Maryland, a research and policy analyst with CASA, and the campaign manager for Vivian Flowers.[1][2]
