An Ashland City School District Bond Measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Ashland city school district area which is in Ashland County.
This measure was defeated
- YES 2,851 (44.29%)
- NO 3,586 (55.71%)

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $40 million which would add a levy of 4.42 mills to local property tax rates and would go towards funding permanent improvements and site construction in the district.[2] The main project proposed for the district was a two part plan, first to build a new high school facility and then a new elementary school and auditorium at the high school. The district also expected to receive $60 million in funds from the Ohio School Facilities Commission which would have helped with the second phase of the proposed project. Those opposed to the bond had noted the bad locations picked out for the new sites as well as the increased burden of more property taxes on residents.[3]
