Ashley & Ovid-Elsie School District Non Residential Property Levies (November 2010)

Two School District Non Residential Property Levy measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Ashley and Ovid-Elsie which are in Saginaw County.

Both measures were defeated

The Ashley school district measure sought to renew the current property tax on non residential areas which is set at a rate of 18 mills for a further two years in order to pay for operational costs of the school district.[1]

The Ovid-Elsie school district measure sought to increase the current property tax on non residential areas by a rate of .6 mills for a further four years in order to pay for operational costs of the school district.[2]

  • YES 28 (27.45%)
