Biography
Ashley Brundage was born in Tampa, Florida. Brundage's career experience includes working as a CEO. She earned degrees from the University of South Florida, Dartmouth College, and Babson College in 2020, 2023, and 2024, respectively.[1]

|Ashley's extensive background also includes significant contributions to advocacy and community engagement. She has served as a consultant to the White House and received accolades from the Governor DeSantis of Florida, reflecting her broad influence on policy and social issues. As the founder and president of Empowering Differences, Ashley has devoted herself to promoting inclusive professional environments through meticulously designed development sessions, which aim to enhance the representation and success of diverse employee groups.
Throughout her journey, Ashley has been a prominent voice for her community. Her work includes volunteer leadership roles with several organizations, including the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Equality Florida, and the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. She also held a national board position with GLAAD, helping to steer media advocacy to accelerate acceptance for LGBTQ people.- She is going to work across party lines to address the property insurance crisis here in Florida. Insurance companies need to have access to national resources to be able to spread across their risk for our state given hurricanes and flooding from climate change. She will use her vast knowledge in the corporate space, and relationships to help bring competitive pricing across all the different lines of insurance. Also the legal industries role in the rising cost of insurance in relation to how many lawsuit awards have impacted the rising insurance cost. The people of Florida have been taken advantage of by the super majority in the State legislature, who have been protecting corporate profits, and not focused on empowerment of people.
- Getting the government out of making decisions about peoples bodies is crucial. The only people that should ever be discussing what someone should do with their body would be that person and their family and their medical professional. Women deserve the right to choose, and our campaign will work to ensure that amendment four is fully enacted. It’s important to flip the super majority in the state house so they don’t attack women’s rights to choose anymore. People should also have the right to access recreational marijuana for their own health concerns, which can alleviate the dependency on numerous drugs and pharmaceuticals. People are accessing marijuana and the state is not generating revenue from that, it is estimated at $4 billion.
- Economic empowerment for small business entrepreneurs should be a top priority for everyone. Ashley is a small business owner who has built economic empowerment programs for small businesses around the world. She was instrumental in 2019 to add veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBT people to the city of Tampa procurement processes. She ran a chamber of commerce and the Tampa Bay area for five years, and then worked to advise a national chamber of commerce On an economic empowerment program for small businesses that ended up growing by more than 400%. This program was duplicated in five other countries for which she provided consultative services towards. Small businesses are the life engine of the economy and need our support.
