Gun Rights Gun rights are human rights, and the Quint/Strand campaign advocates for the citizens of South Dakota to be able to enjoy the full extent of their 2nd Amendment rights. We advocate for repealing the NFA, constitutional carry, allowing teachers the right to carry in schools, and allowing college students to carry on college campuses.
South Dakota voters voted to legalize cannabis in 2020- until Kristi Noem unjustly used her influence in the state to declare it unconstitutional. The Quint/Strand campaign advocates for the full legalization of cannabis in South Dakota.
Freedom of speech is instrumental to a functioning republic, and the Quint/Strand campaign vows to protect your First Amendment rights when elected to office.
South Dakotans don’t have a high tax burden- but the Quint/Strand campaign is passionate about keeping taxes low and lowering/abolishing existing taxes wherever it is possible.
The Quint/Strand campaign believes in equal rights for all South Dakotans- no matter what your gender is, what your race is, or what your sexual orientation is- the Quint/Strand campaign stands for all South Dakotans, no matter what.
Kristi Noem and her administration have been anything but transparent during her tenure. The Quint/Strand campaign is dedicated to transparency in the South Dakotan government.
Mandatory vaccinations and vaccine passports have become a major issue since the onset of the COVID pandemic. The Quint/Strand campaign stands against any and all government-mandated pandemic restrictions.
Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, the Quint/Strand campaign believes that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.[1] |
