Ashley Swearengin
Ashley Swearengin (b. May 24, 1972) is a former mayor of Fresno, California. She was first elected in 2008. Swearengin served until the end of her second term in January 2017.[1]
Swearengin was considered a potential candidate for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Barbara Boxer in 2016, but she ultimately decided against running for the seat.[2][3]
Biography
Swearengin holds a B.S. and an MBA from California State University, Fresno.[1]

2014
In 2014, Swearengin was a Republican candidate for California Controller.[4] In the general election on November 4, 2014, she lost to Betty Yee (D).
