Ashly Bruce Simpson was a judge of the 17th Judicial District, Division D in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to the position on November 13, 1993.[1][2] Simpson did not seek re-election in 2014, and retired at the end of his term on December 31, 2014.[3]
Education
Simpson received a B.S. from Louisiana State University, going on to earn his J.D. there as well. He was admitted to the bar in 1978.[4]
