Assault charge dropped against part-time judge
April 20th, 2011
STAUNTON, Virginia: Juvenile and Domestic judge James B. Glick and his wife Rachel F. Glick have both dropped charges against each other this week.
Rachel Glick said her husband shoved her to the ground twice, causing her to strike her head and to be treated at a local emergency room for a mild concussion. She also admitted to taking a swing at her husband. "His left ear started bleeding — maybe my nail clipped his ear," she wrote in her complaint.
James Glick said his wife became unhinged, punching, kicking and scratching him in the process. He said he was hit several times with a closed fist and that she "clawed at my head repeatedly."
According to an agreement signed Monday by both Glicks they agreed to dismiss their protection orders against one another, and both agreed to drop dueling assault charges as well.[1]
