Hello, my name is Athena. I am a long time political activist. I am a business owner and have served the public as a woodlands firefighter, now I am running for the Grand Jury for El Dorado County.
My first campaign was as a five year old. My mother woke me up at 6 am and we drove to a Union march for better wages for employees at AT&T. They slipped a orange vest over my shirt and handed me a sign. We marched and chanted for hours. I am glad to say that AT&T did offer a wage increase and health benefits, for my mother and her co-workers.
As a Grand Jury member I can offer a strong investigative approach and applied integrity to the people of El Dorado County.
- Advocating Specialized Multi Agency Response Team (SMART) to stop crimes in our District.
- Auditing information for the public benefit.
- Investigating the concerns for the people of El Dorado County.
A legacy of integrity and commitment to the people of El Dorado County.
Honesty is a keystone to create trust of the Government.
Safety of our community through a strong police force is central to my vision and I will fight for the resources they need to keep you safe. I am confident that my expertize and personalized attention to your concerns will create a sustainable and enjoyable district.
