Martin ran for election to the Alachua County Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 18.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Susanne Wilson Bullard and Jose Moreno. [1][2]

Education

Martin earned his undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.[3]

Career

Martin's experience includes 15 years as Alachua County Assistant Public Defender. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida College of Law. He is also a faculty member for the Prosecutor/Public Defender Trial Training Program and is a certified County Court Mediator and Family Mediator.[4]
