Two Auburn & Clay Township Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Auburn and Clay which are in Tuscarawas County.
Both measures were approved
The Auburn measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value in order to continue to pay for fire protection and ambulance services in the township.
- YES 172 (72.88%)
- NO 64 (27.12%)
The Clay measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.15 per $100 of assessed property value in order to continue to pay for maintaining fire equipment, fire protection services and paying part-time firefighters in the township.[1]
- YES 214 (80.45%)
