An Auburn School District No. 408 Bond measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in King County, which is in Washington, where it was approved.
If approved, this proposition authorizes the Auburn School District No. 408 to issue $110,000,000 in general obligation bonds and to levy excess property taxes annually to repay these bonds in 20 years. These funds would be used for the reconstruction of Auburn High School. According to the Washington Constitution, art. VII, sec. 2b, a minimum 60% yes vote and a minimum turnout of 7,393 is required for the approval of this proposition.[1]

| “ | The Board of Directors of Auburn School District No. 408 approved a proposition for bonds. This proposition authorizes the District to reconstruct Auburn High School, including modernizing its Performing Arts Center and Automotive Technology building and modernizing and improving the site, to issue $110,000,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 20 years, and levy excess property taxes annually to repay the bonds, as described in Resolution No. 1159.
