Augusta, Freedom & York Township Levy Measures, 3 (August 2010)
Three Township Levy Measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the townships of Augusta, Freedom and York which are in Washtenaw County.
All three measures were approved
The Augusta township measure sought to increase the current fire levy to $2 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years in order to help pay for fire prevention and protection services in the township.
The Freedom township measure sought to increase the current road levy by $.25 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years in order to help pay for road maintenance services in the township.
The York township measure sought to renew the current public safety levy of $.97 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further four years in order to help pay for public safety services in the township.[1]
