Biography
Avery Renk was born in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. He graduated from Sun Prairie High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2021 and a law degree from University of Wisconsin Law School in 2024. His career experience includes working as an attorney at law and working for former state representative Gary Hebl. He has been affiliated with the State Bar of Wisconsin, Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce, and Sun Prairie Optimists Club.[1]

|- Fighting through gridlock. I know firsthand that most voters with rural backgrounds vote republican. I will use my extensive farming connections to have conversation with rural voters, which will in turn pressure their lawmakers.
- Getting teacher’s raises. It’s unacceptable that our public school teachers are paid well below the national average while 11% of our states education budget goes towards private schools. This money should be redirected so that we are paying our teachers what they deserve.
- Expanding access to healthcare. Being one of only ten states to accept the Medicaid expansion is indefensible. Luckily for republicans, they’ve never had to defend it because Robin Vos won’t bring it to the floor. That will change with this session.
