I was born in Waco, Texas, and now reside in Sierra Blanca, Hudspeth County, Texas. I served in the U.S. Army Reserve, and received an Honorable Discharge. I am a Laboratory Director, and my career experience includes working in agriculture, politics, and as a published author. I serve on the Board for Far West Texas Water Planning Group, and serve my community in as many ways as possible to ensure the growth, and development of my community. I have served in local politics for almost ten years, and it is time to serve on a bigger scale. I am affiliated with the American Bar Association, and taking classes with the Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning Program at Harvard University.
- This is my “Campaign to Preserve the Liberty and Freedoms of Texans”
- Mission: “ I am committed to empowering men and women to be champions, RUN to vote, and voice their opinions to the elected and appointed local, county, district, and senate officials.”
- We need personal responsibility, rugged individualism, and transparency of government.
I am passionate about rural and mental healthcare, border instructors, and sufficient/affordable water planning.
An elected official need to be honest, transparent in duties/role, approachable, and a critical observer. I believe that elected officials need to partake in their area, throughout their term not just the 12 months leading up to reelection.
I am an astute observer, I listen to the people, and I approach situations with precision. I look over bills, laws, statures, and codes in my free time to see the root and justification for the need.
Some of the core responsibilities are to be a proper representation of your constituents, and/or those who live in your area. An elected official should present beneficial bills, resolutions, and amendments for their district.
I want to leave the legacy that I contributed to this State, and my district. I did the things that rattled the cage enough to get the job done. I want to be known for my commitment to the office, and individuals I serve.
I graduated Valedictorian for my High School Senior class. I was 17 years old.
I am particularly fond of “Where the Red Fern Grows “, because it shows one’s determination, faith, and self reliance. We all need a combination of those three in order to maintain one’s sanity and it teaches a life lesson.
A very meaningful song by Dax called “To be a Man”
An ideal relationship between the governor and the state legislature is one that everyone comes together and vote, not fleeing the state, or not showing up. The people depend on the government to protect them against certain aspects. If an agreement can not be made then a lot of times the people suffer, at the cost of personal feelings of elected officials.
Previous experience is not necessary, but a working knowledge is very beneficial in government and politics.
It is very beneficial to build relationships, so that both parties can work alongside each other as well as Senate and House Reps can worth together for a common goal.
In the future, I would possibly run for a different political office on the Federal level. It’s not a definite yes, it depends on what I accomplish as a State Representative.
The fact that many residents feel estranged from their representatives on a state or federal level. Congressional District 32 has 29 counties, Senate district 29 has 5 counties, and House district 74 has 11 counties. This area is wide spread and it is difficult to go visit your elected official whose office may be a 2-6 hour drive. Residents feel like they do not have a voice, or that are not part of the decision making process. Residents are unable to voice their opinions at times due to the fact that we don’t see or hear from our elected officials.
Man: Two years ago, my brother ran for Congress.
Friend: What does he do now?
Man: Nothing—he got elected! The legislature by law may terminate a state of disaster at any time. On termination by the legislature, the governor shall issue an executive order ending the state of disaster. Tex. Gov't Code § 418.014. There are certain circumstances where emergency powers are needed in one area, but not the whole state. In counties along the border for example, the legislators can call for use of emergency powers in order to get control of the migrants coming over.
I have been working on a bill that is for rural healthcare needs, in small counties, and rural areas alike.
In order for the people to understand the government and the in-depth aspect of the processes, we need financial transparency, and accountability of elected officials, and the government as a whole, including down to the staff.

As a Precinct Chair I began with my mission statement of: I am committed to empowering men and woman from our neighborhood to be champions, and RUN to vote, and voice their opinions to the elected and appointed local, county, district, and senate officials. I believe that the people have a voice and elected/appointed officials should listen. I am a Conservative, and believe in personal responsibility, rugged individualism, quality education, and strong families. I am running to contribute to the State of Texas, this District, and by being a voice for the people and representing them in Austin.
- We need to tighten border security, House District #74 is over 700 miles of border counties. There is an influx of migrants that come across mountains and cross through our properties. They come across the River, and are just waved in. We have to come up with a plan and tighter security protocols to eliminate this problem.
- We need to protect our Children. The indoctrination must end now, or the future of this nation will be in shambles! To each their own, but when you begin indoctrinating beliefs into the minds of children is where the line must be drawn.
- I stand for limited government, personal responsibility, rugged individuality, and transparency of government.
I am passionate about better laws on immigration, education/school choice, and lowering the tax threshold.
The Border has a major influx of migrants coming over. We need to stop cutting barb wire fences that are up to keep them out and make them come through the checkpoints and apply for citizenship.
School choice is a must! They are the Leaders of Tomorrow. We have to place a face value on education, we must attend PTA, School Board meeting, get to know the teachers, etc. No matter whether public, private, or homeschool the same baseline foundation has to be understood, to an extent. Teach our children to be better than our generation. Teach our children to be true Texans.
I vow to fight against raising taxes. I will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes. Outside of my family, I look up to Faith Johnson and Dr. Ben Carson. Both have succeeded and the list of the first in their respective fields. I was part of a round table discussion with Dr. Carson present in 2020, and he is very knowledgeable and has made a name for himself in the medical and political field. I met Faith Johnson while I was a Precinct chair and she is about the people. She changed the political arena in Dallas County and the judicial court system in Dallas County.
My political philosophy is an approach from the things I have learned while working in politics. I have worked on over 60 campaigns from local to US Congressional campaigns, from a block walker to a political director. In each campaign, you grasp a different concept or learn about elections and government from a different perspective.

Border security/migrant influx, and education issues
I believe that State legislators should have knowledge through schooling or employment experience in/about government or politics.
Yes, I do believe that it is beneficial to build relationships with other legislators. Not in the sense of a favor for a favor, but in the aspect of working together to accomplish a common goal. Both political sides, and both chambers need to build relationships in order to fulfill the duties that the constituents are expecting results from.
Rodney Anderson was a State Representative, and I would like to model myself after him. He stood up for what was right, and worked to lower the tax burden, educational goals, growing the economy, and stopping the cartels.

A compromise may be needed from both sides on certain issues. What may be good for one district, may not be sufficient or a good fit for a different district.
I would like to introduce a bill that tightens border security, or one concerning rural health care.
I am interested in the following committees: public education, juvenile justice and family matters, health care reform, public health, and state affairs.
