Avion M. Benjamin
Avion M. Benjamin is a judge of the New Jersey Vicinage 5 Superior Court. She assumed office in 2020. Her current term ends in 2027.

Biography
Benjamin received her bachelor's degree from Binghamton University and her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. She worked as an associate with Lomurro, Davison, Eastman & Munoz from 2002 to 2004 then began working for the City of Newark Law Department as Assistant Corporation Counsel in 2004. In 2006, she became Assistant Section Chief in the Civil Litigation Section. From 2009 to 2015, she served as the Section Chief. Directly prior to her appointment, she served from 2015 to 2020 as First Assistant Corporation Counsel.[2]
