An Avon Middle School Levy Renewal measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the Avon school district area which is in Lorain County.
The measure was approved
- YES 3,359 (57.44%)

- NO 2,489 (42.56%)[1]
This measure sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of 3.21 mills for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district area.[2] This renewal will actually combine two school levies which are set to expire, generating near $2.5 million for the ten years it is in place.[3]
