Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall Avra Valley Fire District of Pima and Pinal Counties, Arizona, be authorized to issue and sell bonds of the District in the principal amount of not to exceed $4,135,000, bearing interest at a rate of not to exceed ten percent (10%) per annum and extending for a term not exceeding thirty (30) years and use the proceeds of such bonds to purchase land or rights in land, to purchase, construct, renovate, expand, furnish and equip fire facilities, purchase fire trucks and fire equipment, pay off existing lease-purchase or purchase agreements and pay all costs in connection therewith?[1][2] | ” |
