Roe was Cruz's campaign manager.[7] According to Axiom's website, the firm worked to target voters in Iowa ahead of the caucuses to deliver Cruz's message across platforms. The group notes, "We tailored advertising in Iowa not only by a voter’s modeled or identified top issue, but by their personality type and by complex candidate preference segmentations."[8]

Catherine Hanaway gubernatorial campaign: In 2015, Axiom was running Kansas gubernatorial candidate Catherine Hanaway's (R) campaign when the Democratic candidate, Tom Schweich shot and killed himself in February. At the time of his death, Axiom had released ads opposing Schweich.
