I am a married, mother of 3 in Cy-Fair ISD. We moved to Cypress from Houston a decade ago. I had a career in risk management before I became a stay-at-home mother. I have been speaking at Cy-Fair ISD school board meetings, for over 2 years, promoting conservative values for over two years.
  • Safer atmosphere on campuses
  • Emphasis on teachers’ authority in classroom
  • Putting parents in control of what is appropriate in schools
Donald Trump. I auditioned for his show, The Apprentice while being a student at the UT at Austin Business School.
I promoted a film at churches called Mind Polluters. It is a a grassroots documentary to expose and stop the efforts of corrupt organizations and groups to infiltrate the nation's school systems with pornographic and pedophilia materials.
Integrity. An elected official should do what they say they are going to do on the campaign trail.
I am honest, empathetic, courageous, and motivated to help make Cy-Fair ISD a strong and successful district.
Implementing policies that benefit students, staff and taxpayers.
I am determined to improve academic scores, campus safety, and more opportunities for extra curricular activities.
I was a lifeguard at Adventure Bay/Fame City in Alief, Texas for 3 summers when I was a teenager.
The Bible. I read the Bible for inspiration and guidance.
I have been financially independent since 18 and paying my way through college. I worked two jobs and attended college full time.
The primary job of a school board member is to write policy that directly effects students and staff. School board members also award multi-million dollar contracts. This is why it is important a school board member has experience with policy and contracts. I do.
My constitutes are Conservative. I personally am a Conservative Christian who votes Republican.
I will help write policy that takes into consideration everyone's needs. However, I do not believe it is the responsibility of a School Board Trustee to overstep parental boundaries.
Good teaching requires good teachers. We have many of those in CFISD. I plan on fully supporting our teachers.
I will advocate for an audit of the programs/education vendor contracts and review where budget hasn't seen any updates.
I would like to budget for each campus to have its own police officer. I believe teachers have the right to safely carry a firearm after going through training for it.
When did it become the responsibility of a public school, to pay for the mental health needs of a student, with tax payer money?
My husband loves to tell "Dad Jokes."
A new library policy. School libraries should be safe spaces. They should not have books promoting pornography.
Lucas Scanlon, Cy-Fair ISD Trustee

Pastor Dale Inman, of Autumn Creek Baptist Church. Former Conroe ISD Trustee. HC GOP SD4 Committee.

Teachers should have more authority to control their classroom. My hope is to provide them more disciplinary tools to do this.
I would not demand children wear masks. Cy-Fair made a policy that masks were mandatory on all children, all day in the classroom after the Governor removed the mandate. Masks should be optional and up to the parent.
I will spend time listening to parents and addressing their concerns.
I will work with the other School Board members to formulate a strategy.
