Biography

Bahaati Pitt-Burke graduated from Morgan State University and earned her J.D. from the State University of New York, Buffalo. Prior to her appointment in 2016, Pitt-Burke served as a court attorney for the Bronx County Family and Civil Courts and a principal law clerk for the Bronx County Supreme Court. Her professional experience also includes work for the Legal Aid Society's Criminal Defense Division.[1]
