Bailey C. Moseley was a justice on the Texas Sixth District Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position on November 7, 2006, and took office in January 2007.[1][2] He was re-elected on November 6, 2012.[3][4] He did not seek re-election in 2018.

Education

Justice Moseley received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from the University of Houston's Bates College of Law.[2]

Career

Justice Moseley began his legal career in 1970 as an assistant criminal district attorney.[5] In 1971, he started the law office of Moseley & Moseley with his brother Sam. In 1986, he began practicing with Al Davis under the name Moseley and Davis, Associates. Then, from 1992 until he joined the Court of Appeals in 2007, he worked as a sole practitioner with a specialty in commercial and real estate litigation.[2]

2012

Moseley won the Republican primary, winning 62.92 percent of the vote. He defeated judicial candidate Frank L. Supercinski in the general election on November 6, 2012, with 72 percent of the vote.[6][7][4]
