Ballot Measure Scorecard, 2015
The Ballot Measure Scorecard for 2015 filters ballot measures approved for the 2015 ballot by type. The Polls and News tabs provide information regarding the measures from the months leading up to the elections.
Like previous odd-numbered years, such as 2013, 2011, 2009 and 2007, 2015's ballot featured roughly three dozen statewide ballot measures in a handful of states. Specifically, there were 28 measures certified for statewide ballots in nine states.
The states that nearly always have statewide ballot measures on their odd-year ballots are Texas, New Jersey and the State of Washington. Other states that show up with statewide measures in odd-numbered years with some frequency are Colorado, Maine and New York. Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Ohio and Utah also show up in odd-numbered years from time to time. Unlike previous years, New York, New Jersey and Utah did not have any measures on the ballot in 2015.
