PIERRE: South Dakota: South Dakota has one at-large district and the current incumbent Kristi Noem (R) is running for re-election. She was first elected into office in 2010 and faced no competition for the Republican primary which was held on June 5. Democratic nominee Matt Varilek defeated two opponents in the primary.
Currently, the Republican Party holds the one at-large U.S. House seat.
In South Dakota, the polls open at 7 AM and all locations close at 7 PM local time.[1]
