MADISON, Wisconsin: Maryland had eight U.S. House seats on the ballot in 2012. Eight total incumbents sought re-election on November 6, 2012.
Maryland's 6th Congressional District switched partisan control in the general election. This was not unexpected, as redistricting made the district more Democratic, in terms of voter registration. John Delaney (D) won by over 20 percentage points to beat incumbent Roscoe Bartlett (R).
