  • Bernie Sanders criticized working conditions at Amazon warehouses, tweeting, “Amazon must significantly improve working conditions at its warehouses and respect the constitutional right of its employees to form a union and bargain collectively for a better life.”

  • Andrew Yang reached the 65,000-donor threshold to participate in the first primary debate.

  • The Democratic National Committee announced that it had selected Milwaukee as the host city for the 2020 Democratic National Convention. The convention will be held July 13-16, 2020. “The Democratic Party has again become an every ZIP code party. We’re listening to people in every corner of the country,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said.
