The following disclaimers relate to Ballotpedia's Premium Research Services.

Legal disclaimer

Ballotpedia's Premium Research Service (PRS) is a service made available by the Premium Research Service division of Ballotpedia.org.

If retained to do so, PRS may provide information about matters related to the law. PRS does not provide legal advice and PRS is not a law firm.

Ballotpedia's PRS researchers are not lawyers and they do not provide legal advice.

Although Ballotpedia's PRS department and researchers go to great lengths to make sure our information is accurate and useful, we recommend that clients consult a lawyer for legal advice.

Retaining Ballotpedia's PRS service does not create an attorney-client relationship or privilege.

Ballotpedia's PRS service/researchers will not provide referrals to lawyers. We do not endorse any particular lawyer or law firm.

Services provided to advocacy organizations

Election Data Solutions may at times contract with Ballotpedia's PRS division to provide research and research materials to a variety of clients, including advocacy organizations. At no time and in no way does this constitute an endorsement by Ballotpedia or any of its employees of the goals or mission of any organization, company, or other client of Election Data Solutions.

Revenue use

The money paid in exchange for Ballotpedia's PRS research is used to cover the costs associated with directing Ballotpedia's staff and time away from building the encyclopedia of American politics and to further Ballotpedia's goal of providing robust information about every candidate for every election on every ballot.
