Voting this year will be unlike any modern election with all the changes implemented in response to the pandemic.
To make voting easier, Ballotpedia launched a voting center that gives you all the nitty gritty of how to vote.
You can find out important mail-in information like
- When and how to request an absentee/mail-in voting ballot
- Some states require you to meet certain criteria to request a ballot to vote from home
- COVID-19 is a reason to request to vote absentee in some but not all states
- What documentation you need to supply when voting
- In some states you need to include a photocopy of your photo ID for instance
- When your actual ballot is due back
- Make sure to note if your ballot needs to be received by or postmarked by that date
