Expeditions will offer learners the ability to do a deep dive into the topics influencing government today.
Middleton, Wis. - June 2, 2020: In today’s complex news environment, resources about important political concepts and procedures are hard to find and often inaccessible to the average person. On June 8th, Ballotpedia is launching a new way to learn about these concepts: Ballotpedia Expeditions.
Ballotpedia Expeditions are 4-week learning experiences that can be worked through at any pace.
As each Expedition is launched, readers will be invited to participate in the live version of the program. Here, explorers can work through the material together and connect with experts in real-time on important topics. They will also be invited to participate in a live AMA. Live Expeditions last four weeks.
After those first four weeks, the Expedition material will be published and available for anyone to sign up and go through the course at any time.
Expeditions will introduce learners to key resources and guide people with videos, reflection questions, and other resources in order to help people engage with the conversations that are happening about the government today. Ballotpedia is also partnering with a variety of experts for interviews to help learners become more aware of the modern landscape around key government concepts and procedures.
Chris Nelson, the head of Ballotpedia’s Administrative State Project team, says, “Readers can dive deep into big topics at the pace that makes the most sense to them. We’re excited about this opportunity to introduce people to the discussion happening around important government concepts today.”
Ballotpedia’s first Live Expedition on the nondelegation doctrine is available for registration now and will launch on June 8th. A Live Expedition on Judicial Deference launches July 6th.
