Baltimore City Circuit Court nominees chosen

Maryland: Nine candidates have been nominated by the judicial nominating commission to fill a vacancy on Maryland's 8th Circuit Court in Baltimore City. The commission met on June 27th to make their selections. The candidates are: Judge Nathan Braverman, Jeffrey Michael Geller, Judge Jeannie Jinkyung Hong, Philip Senan Jackson, Michael Wilson Reed, Julie Rubin, Donald Edmund Zaremba, Angela Denise Shelton and Debra Antoinette Thomas. Their names have now been sent to the Governor, who will make the final appointment. The new judge will replace Hon. Shirley Marie Watts, who was elevated to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.[1]
