Barbara A. Dortch-Okara was a Superior Court judge in Massachusetts.[1] She retired from this position in 2012.[2]

Education

Dortch-Okara received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School.[2]

Career

Dortch-Okara was an associate justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court for 23 years, until her retirement in 2012. From 1984 to 1989, she was a justice of the Boston Municipal Court. Previously, she was associate general counsel of the Massachusetts Port Authority, attorney adviser for the Massachusetts office of the U.S. Department of the Interior, and assistant corporate counsel for the City of Boston.[2]
