Barbara A. McDermott (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She assumed office in 2012. Her current term ends on January 5, 2032.

Education
McDermott earn her undergraduate degree from Seton Hill College and her J.D. from Georgetown University.[1]

Prior to joining the court McDermott worked for 21 years in criminal defense and a total of 31 years as an attorney.[2]
