Barbara Ann Bluntson was a 2014 candidate for the 11th Chancery District (Place 1) in Mississippi.[1]

Bluntson ran for election to the Eleventh Judicial District.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Robert G. Clark III.

Education
Bluntson graduated from the Jackson State University and earned her J.D. from the Ole Miss Law School.[2]
Career
Bluntson began her legal career in 1994 as a staff attorney with Mississippi Child Support. After serving in that position she opened her own law firm. Later, she worked as the chief city prosecutor for Jackson, Mississippi, for ten years. She served eight years in the United States Army Reserve.[2]
