The city of Fresno, California held a general election on November 4. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the District 3 primary, its general election was called off. Incumbent Oliver Baines defeated Wanda Hemmitt, Barbara Ann Hunt, Eddie Rashad and Lisa Brewer.[1][2]
