Barbara Buckley
Barbara Buckley (b. November 23, 1960) is a former Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly, representing District 8 from 1994 to 2010. She previously served as Speaker of the House. State term limits disqualified her from re-election in 2010.
Biography
Buckley earned her B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1986 and her J.D. from the University of Arizona in 1989. Her professional experience includes working as an attorney and has been executive director of Clark County Legal Services since 1996.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Buckley won re-election to the District 8 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating Kevin Child.[2]
