Drummond (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 103. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Drummond graduated from Murphy High School and received her B.A. in communications from the University of South Alabama. Her professional experience includes working as a reporter for the Mobile Register, owning B-Inspired Marketing and Consulting Inc., serving as the executive director of administrative services and community affairs for the city of Mobile, and serving as the public affairs director for Mobile County. She has served on the board of directors for United Way of Southwest Alabama and the Alabama Association of Constitutional Reform.[1]

2014
Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Barbara Drummond defeated Charlie Staten in the Democratic primary. Ralph Carmichael was unopposed in the Republican primary. Drummond then defeated Carmichael in the general election.[2][3][4][5][6]
